What is it?
Facebook is a Social Networking site that most of the Western Hemisphere appears to be a member of. Someone can have a profile with a Friend list and then they usually get spammed by 3rd party applications (Apps) that have a survey for every topic possible.
Since everyone is on it and since it has a pretty good system for organising events most folks use it for social networking.
