KBA/Redelegating your Domain

This explains how to redelegate your domain, this is usually only done when you are migrating your website.
- Ensure you have recreated all the settings from your old hosting provider onto your new hosting provider
- Get your new hosting providers Nameserver details
- Contact your Domain Registrar (the folks you registered your domain with)
- Tell them you want to redelegate your domain and supply them with the details you got in Step 2
That is it. Once you have completed Step 4 it will take approximately 48 hours for everyone on the internet to get the new details. This is because of DNS Caching. So with this in mind make sure that before you get to Step 4 that the details are correct.
